I want to work side by side with you while we uncover the challenges and patterns that keep you from living the life you desire.

Hi, my name is Julia, I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Anxiety Management

Is your anxiety making life challenging for you? Through our work together, we’ll take note of the ways your anxiety is interfering and find tools to better manage it.

HIV/AIDS

If you’re living with HIV (recently diagnosed or long term survivor), or know somebody who is impacted by HIV, therapy can help you. I have had the honor of working with those impacted by HIV/AIDS for over ten years.

LGBTQIA

As a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer (LGBTQ) affirmative therapist, I have the honor of sitting with people as they navigate the layers of gender, sexuality, culture, and race that shape their everyday experiences.

Depression

Symptoms of depression can vary from person to person. Regardless of severity, we will utilize evidence-based practices to help you better care of your mood and yourself.

Life Transitions

Adjusting to change can be difficult. Births, new jobs, retirement, marriages, can have stress associated with them. We will talk through these adjustments, develop a deeper understanding of them, and develop skills to better manage some of your stress.

Trauma-Informed Counseling

Difficult life experiences can heavily shape your emotional wellbeing. By utilizing a trauma-informed lens, I strive to create a safe environment where you can develop insight into your history and learn tools to manage your mental health.
