What is Counseling?

Counseling is a non-judgmental, safe environment, where we will talk about issues and concerns that interfere in your life. We’ll discuss your goals and employ strategies to overcome them.

Throughout this process, we will also unpack your life experiences and gain insight into how they’ve shaped you. I primarily utilize attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed.

Individual Counseling

There are many reasons why someone might need a little empathy and personal attention. If you are struggling with your mental health or life stressors, individual counseling can be a great source of support.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling provides a judgment-free space to explore elements in your relationship that may not be working. We’ll explore how past relationships or childhood experiences may be at play, and develop the relationship you want and need.

One more thing

The past 12 months have been extraordinarily difficult for a lot of people. This has been an era of significant stress, unfamiliarity, and loss for many.

Therapy can serve to alleviate some of the stress you may be experiencing.

“If we start being honest about our pain, our anger, and our shortcomings instead of pretending they don’t exist, then maybe we’ll leave the world a better place than we found it.” – Russell Wilson
